Oxidized Black Hoops and Gold Jhumkas

I love the combination of Gold and Oxidized Silver, they make the gold pop even more, these are so modern and ancient at the same time. These are a personal favorite! I have taken my popular  hoops and oxidized them with patina gel and adorned it with gold(Vermeil over sterling Silver) gungroos and gold((Vermeil over sterling Silver) jhumkas.

Jhumka Hara

A heavyset Rajasthani Tribal Jhumka dangles from a bright sterling silver chain. A jhumka as a pendant, I think this is the best way to wear them. A 7 -day jhumka necklace!

Arnav Jhumkas - An Addition

A new addition to the Arnav collection - this combination is inspired by the delicate Parijata flower - with the petals off white and with an orange stem. I have mixed freshwater pearls with tiny Italian corals. Metal - Gold vermeil over silver.

Gulabi Meenakari Jhumkas

I have been waiting to feature these forever, Gulabi Meenkari in Silver is rare, it is practically unheard of, as they are always done in gold!

They were a struggle to get it done in silver but here they are opulent in pearls. This is a rare art with only a handful of artisans!

Visiri Murugu South Indian Jhumkas

I have always been fascinated with Visiri Murugu - famous in Madurai, Tamil Nadu - Well, here it is - I had to add an Jhumka to it - I always do :).

Visiri Murugu is usually worn in the outer rim of the auricle - but here it is ready to adorn your earlobes - a modern twist on an ancient tradition. In Karnataka these are also known as Chandra Murugu.

A fan shaped chandeliers famously called Visiri(palm leaf fan) Murugu(wind) is adorned with freshwater pearls, and in the center a tiny jhumka decked with freshwater pearls dangles. These are an sensual pair of earrings....

The lion faced is Kirthimukha or face of glory - only visiri murugu shows a KirthiMukha. KirithiMukha is seen in all South Indian Temples.

These dangle from earwires and the jhumka's add drama and this is a fusion of South Indian and North Indian Jhumkas.
Total length is 2". Metal - Gold Vermeil over Sterling Silver! Fresh Water Pearls.
